Lamb Koftas are a popular Middle Eastern and South Asian spiced meatball. In South Asian cuisine they are normally cooked in a spicy curry. In Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria, they are traditionally served in pittas with a sprinkling of salt and cumin.   • 450g lean mince lamb
  • 50g breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • handful freshly chopped parsley
  • sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
